The Tourism, Archaeology & Museums Department, Govt of Punjab Jobs 2026, invites applications from qualified, experienced, and dedicated individuals having domicile of Punjab for contract-based positions under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.

Vacant Positions

1. Media Coordinator

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 24 to 29 Years
  • Pay Package: Rs. 120,000/- (Lump Sum) + 10% Annual Increase

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 16 years of education (2nd Division / 2.5 CGPA) in Media Studies, Media & Communication, Mass Communication, Digital Media & Broadcast Journalism from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the tourism sector.

2. Law Officer

  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Age Limit: 28 to 35 Years
  • Pay Package: Rs. 120,000/- (Lump Sum) + 10% Annual Increase

Eligibility Criteria:

  • LLM or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university with 2 years of active practice as an advocate.

OR

  • LLB from an HEC-recognized university with 5 years of practice as an advocate in the High Court.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience as a legal advisor in a government department.

General Conditions

  1. Appointments will be made on a contract basis under the Contract Appointment Policy, 2004.
  2. Initial contract period will be three years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
  3. The contract appointment is temporary, non-transferable, job/post-specific, non-pensionable, and does not confer any right to regularization.
  4. Recruitment will be conducted under the Contract Appointment Policy 2004 and the Recruitment Policy 2022 of the Government of Punjab.
  5. Candidates must apply online through the Punjab Jobs Online Portal.
  6. Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Body employees may apply through the proper channel.
  7. No hard copy of the application will be accepted.
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
  9. Only post-qualification practical experience will be considered.
  10. Age relaxation will be admissible as per Government of Punjab rules.
  11. No TA/DA will be admissible for the recruitment process.
